Privacy Policy for HealthC

Last updated: 7 July 2026

HealthC ("the app") is a personal health and medication tracker published by Kevin Peivareh, an independent developer based in Hannover, Germany ("I", "me"). This policy explains what happens to your data. The short version: your data stays on your device. It is never collected, received, transmitted, sold or shared.

1. No data is collected

HealthC has no user accounts, no servers and no backend. Everything you enter, including medications, doses, schedules, blood-work values, body metrics, notes, tasks, mindfulness sessions and your place/time timeline, is stored only in the app's private database on your iPhone. It is never uploaded to me or to any third party. I have no ability to see, access or recover it.

2. Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you grant permission, HealthC reads activity and body data from Apple Health (steps, distance, flights climbed, active energy, exercise minutes, body mass, body-fat percentage and height) to display your activity and keep your profile up to date, and it can write completed mindfulness sessions back to Apple Health. This data is processed entirely on your device. HealthC never sends Apple Health data off your device, and never uses it for advertising, marketing or any use-based data mining. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app or in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.

3. Location

If you enable the "Life" timeline, HealthC uses visit and significant-location monitoring to build a private log of the places you visit and how long you stay. This location history is stored only on your device and never leaves it. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, HealthC schedules local notifications on your device. These are handled by iOS and are not sent through any server of mine. With "Discreet Mode" enabled, notifications, the widget and the Live Activity never display the name of a tracked substance.

5. Backups and exports

You can export a full backup (JSON) or your data as CSV. These files are created only when you tap Export, and you choose where they go through the iOS share sheet. I am not involved and never receive them. Anything you export is your responsibility once it leaves the app.

6. No tracking, no advertising, no analytics

HealthC contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. You are not tracked across apps or websites. Under Apple's App Privacy definitions, the app collects no data.

7. Children

HealthC is not directed at children and is intended for adults (18+). I do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

8. Not medical advice

HealthC is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device and not medical advice. Its estimates are for personal tracking only and must not be used to make dosing or treatment decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional, and only track substances that are legally prescribed to you or legally obtained in your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated and the new version posted at this address.
